Step 1

Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.

Step 2

Restart in Safe Mode

Close all opened browser windows

Step 4

Remove ADW_DELTA by using its own Uninstall option

Delete this registry key

Step 8

Restart in normal mode and scan your computer with your Trend Micro product for files detected as ADW_DELTA. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files. NOTES:

For Step 5, remove only the registry keys HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\{GUID} and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\AppID\{GUID} with the following registry entries:

  • {Default} = "esrv"
  • {Default} = "escorTlbr"
  • {Default} = "escortEng"
