Dear Valued Trend Micro Message Archiver Customer:

We thank you for choosing Trend Micro as your preferred brand in security solutions for your organization. Trend Micro has recently reviewed its current email archive offerings and has made a strategic decision to discontinue development of these products.

As a result, Trend Micro Message Archiver versions 2.0, 1.0 and 1.1 will no longer be available for sale as of January 15, 2010. However, Trend Micro will continue to support these products through January 15, 2013. Active support includes responding to telephone, email or web inquiries about the operation or use of the software and providing on-going development support in the form of workarounds, patches or fixes for resolving known and emerging product issues. All Solution Bank entries associated with these products will continue to be available until January, 15, 2014.

How the products function when the respective license expires depends on the particular version of the product. For instance, administrators or end users using Message Archiver version 2.0 will still be able to search, access, or export existing archived messages after the license expires. However, new email messages archived after the license expires will not be searchable or accessible in the archive. But, if you are using version 1.0 or 1.1, all search functions are disabled for new and existing messages once the license expires.

A free upgrade to version 2.0 is available for those using versions 1.0 or 1.1. Should you require further clarification or details relating to the discontinuance of these products, please do not hesitate to contact .
