Trend Micro Mobile Security Personal Edition for Android stops threats before they reach you. By the end of 2013 there will be more than 1,000,000 malicious Android apps attempting to steal information and sign you up for expensive SMS services. This cloud-based security helps keep you safe from online threats, data theft, and the loss of your Android smartphone or tablet.
Mobile Security has antivirus, antispyware, web filtering, backup, social networking privacy, and anti-theft features. Powered by Mobile App Reputation technology, it’s fast, light, and effective.
Additionally, it identifies bad apps and fake websites that try to steal your information, and identifies risky settings in your Facebook profile that put your privacy at risk.
If your device gets lost or stolen, Mobile Security can help you find it via the web, as well as protect the information stored on it from prying eyes. And as long as you have enabled the new data backup feature, if you cant get your device back, at least you can restore your data.
Trend Micro Mobile Security Personal Edition comes in two flavors, Free and Premium. The Free version includes a 30-day free trial of all the features in the Premium version.
