Executive General Manager, XSP/VLE/Enterprise Business

As the Executive General Manager of XSP/VLE/Enterprise market segment for Trend Micro, Max has P&L responsibility for all aspects in this market segment’s business. Thus, his main objective is to drive the worldwide growth of Trend Micro’s Enterprise segment.

Max has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. Before becoming the Executive GM of the Enterprise segment, he took on several various Executive roles in the company.

In 1998, Max managed TrendLabs, Trend Micro’s global research and support headquarters based in Manila. Under his leadership, TrendLabs rose to become one of the industry’s leaders in antivirus research and product support services, and operates around-the-clock to ensure that Trend Micro’s customers are protected.

In 2000, Max successfully establised Trend Micro's Premium Support service business through collaborative work with Sales and Marketing. Since 2000, he also served as Trend Micro's CIO, and headed the Global Sales Engineering, AntiVirus research, and global technical support groups.

Max holds an MBA degree from the University of California in Los Angeles.
